ZMi P/L follows 4 major steps in the implementation process.

Site Review - The site review undertakes a study of the current operation, conditions, practices and infrastructure in place. Base line figures of the current processes are collected for future comparisons. This review is conducted with two ZMi personnel and one Client Champion, appointed by and reports direct to senior management. Site personnel are involved through the review process, interviewed and made aware of what is being undertaken.
A report is generated to management on the site review findings with a plan towards implementation of ZoneMaintenance on site for 1-2 critical machine models. Once accepted the next step begins.

Development - Off site work begins in applying some changes to the service sheets and methods. These changes are then presented for the implementation stage.

Implementation is the doing phase, where communication and applying the suggested changes are presented and applied. Detailed testing and measuring takes place to compare the previous results to the applied changes. Each new step is discussed, trialled and measured against the site review base line.

Review is a follow up every three months for six months. As part of this we provide ongoing support, mentoring, coaching and possible solutions to problems experienced. All parties are focused and passionate about eliminating waste from the business and spreading the method to other machines.
During this time, further training in waste elimination methods are offered along with identifying other areas of the operation where waste can be eliminated.
